About five years ago, while still a practicing BSN-MSN in anrnoncology clinic and in several hospitals over the years, Leticia Ramirez Normanrnwondered what was next after she retired from her over forty-year career. Shernhad dreamed of opening her own day sparnfor quite a while; one that could not only nurture guests during difficultrntimes in their lives, such as during cancer treatments, but also other guestsrnwho needed to decompress, relax or refresh. She knew that she could create anrnenvironment in which her guests felt nurtured and welcome. About three yearsrnago she began the process of researching the spa industry; then Covid 19 hit,rndelaying the process for about eighteen months. She persevered.
