2nd Life Battery. We are a family-owned and operated Eco-friendly high quality Hybrid Battery Refurbishing Company, operating from our Off-Grid property in beautiful Central Oregon, just 30 miles East of Bend Oregon. I have been in the automobile industry my whole life, until a motorcycle accident left me paralyzed from the waist down in 96. Having to shut down my Auto Shop in 2002 after 25 years, I decided to buy 120 acres and move off the grid. In 2007 I decided to go to college so I could learn how to make Hydrogen from solar power and I want to work on Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles.
