2023 Ford Escape

Its athletic looks, stylish interior, and entertaining chassis help the Escape distinguish itself in the crowd of small crossovers. The base engine is a 168-hp four-cylinder, while a 178-hp turbo four and a 240-hp turbo four are optional. All have front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive is optional on turbos. Ford’s Sync infotainment is available, as are active park assist, blind-spot monitoring, and a foot-activated liftgate. A new Escape is due in 2016, so look for deals on current models soon.
