Silk road summary in Hindi: There was an ancient trade route between Asia and Europe, which extended from China to Central Asia and ultimately to Europe. Use of this route began approximately 2,000 years ago and became an important means of exchange of trade, culture and ideas. The name of the Silk Road is inspired by the Chinese silk trade, which was transported to Western countries through this route. However, not only silk but also spices, tea, glass, jewellery, metal goods and other valuables were transported through this route.
