Hi and welcome to Bird Tree Urban Farm. Over 20 years have passed since Greg had the for sight to purchase a double lot and a turn of the century house here in Revelstoke. In 2012 both Greg and Kristina relocated to Revelstoke permanently. Kristina set about reclaiming just under a 1/4 acre of lawn. Establishing permanent growing beds, planting perennials for berry crops and unique flower stems, as well as building a greenhouse and a propagation house. Situated in the Rocky Mountains, this mountain hamlet in British Columbia, Canada, offers breathtaking views. Kristina Metzlaff and Greg Golovach started a market garden. Bird Tree Urban Farm company should be able to capitalize on the growing demand for sustainably grown cut flowers, as well as the growing trend of buying seedlings and other agricultural products directly from farmers. We plan to continue farming three sections until 2024, when our biointensive microfarm will have grown to one acre. We are present at the LFI Revelstoke Farmers Market every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm from May through October, when the crops are in full bloom. At the market, you can get fresh produce, seedlings, and simple bouquets. In addition to three distinct flower subscription programs, our online store offers custom bouquets, seedlings, and occasion flowers. Only through our online store can you buy dahlia tubers. Pickup in your area or flat-rate shipping anywhere in Canada are both available. On top of that, there is a dedicated page for brides.
